LSC1503 -Final self-Reflection

This course has helped me overcome my fear of speaking. I was unsure of myself at first, but I quickly became used to speak in front of peoples .I have learned how to do a good presentation, I had never did a presentation in a good way I was always nervous and perform in a bad way .

Academic spoken communication course has helped me a lot to improve my speaking skills not only this , more over it helped me to defeat my weakness point which is shyness . This course taught me different types skill such as doing announcements , presenting and do digital storytelling . As a media student I needed all these kind of skills which can help me in the future through my job . Through mentioning the job in this course I have learned how to build a good CV and interviewing. Also, in PSA  I improve my writing and spoken skills. Now I am batter than in speaking and writing, moreover in the future I will work hard to develop my English not only in this course .

I have enjoyed this class because it opened my eyes to who I really am as a person. I have learned about my preferred learning style, which is visual. I have become more confident and goal-oriented.MR.Greg he’s helpful and he always help us to get a good marks.
I have learned all the previous and I hope to learn more through the next course.

Why thinking you’re ugly is bad for you

Meaghan Ramsey

This video basically is all about how we build self-esteem into ourselves and

into others. People theses days are lacking confidence they are thinking of

what people say. Ten thousand people every month Google “am I ugly or not”,

they actually get bad comments and this affects their lives, they way they feel

physically, mentally and socially. All she’s saying is that we need to cheer them

up and build some confidence in them, can you imagine that people don’t show

up to job interviews only because they don’t think that they look good enough,

not only that but teenagers don’t show up to exams and even to classes because

they don’t look good, so we need to build confidence in children these days so

that they could make a change tomorrow.
